It is based on Mechanical Biological Treatment, MBT or a technology that transforms waste to organic fertilizer and waste fuel. It consist of waste sorting belt system, size reduction shredding, composting system and sieving machine to sort out organic fertilizer and plastic. There are 6 by products resulted from the waste transforming process, which are :
– A Grade Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF)
– B Grade Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF)
– Integrated Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF)
– Soil reconditioning material
– Organic fertilizer
– Recycle waste
These by-products will be sold to make an income for environmental fund. Currently, the university is able to manage 99.95 percents of total waste.
